I have a 2005 GMC LLY and I am looking to add a compound kit to it. I tow a lot to the track (truck/trailer just over 24000). Looking for any input. Thanks

Lots of kits out there now. Stick with a stock charger and a 75mm big one, seems to be the best choice for towing & stock internals. What exactly do you want to know?

To be exact. I am in the military, and moved from Florida to New Mexico. Now I tend to over work my stock turbo, and my induction temp is high in the summer due to the higher Altitude. I currently have a 4 inch turbo back bully dog exhaust/triple dog programmer. I am going to upgrade programmers to PPE HOT+2 or other recommended programmer for the extra turbo. I have found several kits, but everyone thinks there kit is best. Looking for any info from fellow Duramax owners. Thanks for the help

I'd look into Trents or Nathans kit (MPI). As far as tuning, I would look into EFI Live, or have someone make you a tune to run with the twins. I know that trent can set you up with twins and the tune to run them. Also are going to want to have your trans done if its not already. I'd do that before the twins/better tuning

for the trans upgrade, do I need a shift kit or should I go all out with the PPE stage IV

Mike L. Inglewood Trans. here for one on your Alli and that is where alot of these trucks go for work to make things stay together. Turbo deal is lots of reading fun to learn about it all so far so I know how it's going to cost and be after it's built. Great site to do your changes.
