compare turbos for a 05 duramax non vvt

Wondering how the gt4094r non vane compares to the sxe366 and sxe369, stock fuel for now and stock bottom end. What you guys recommend.. its a dd that tows hear and there but usually small trailers with a side by or couple sleds on it

The 4094 is an out dated turbo. I'd personally go to the 69mm.

I havent driven a truck with the 68r... But I recently put Marks 3794 stg2 65 on my truck with 45 overs and a 10mm pump. Spool up is crazy fast and it absolutely rips! It spools faster than stock and EGT's are very stable and low compared to the stocker. I would recommend this turbo to any DD truck. Like I said I havent driven a 68r but this 3794 far exceeds my expectations!

Every stock fuel DD/Tow rig should have a Danville 68R VGT.

Agreed. Mark's 68 is one badass charger. The real benefit is that it will work well with stock fuel all the way up to heavy fueling. It has the capability to grow with your mods unlike a fixed vane. VGT allows for stock like spool out of a much larger than stock charger. My 68mm stage 2r spools as fast as stock even at 7000 ft elevation. It made 785 rwhp and ran 11.5 with 60s and dual pumps. One of these days it will make a very badass high pressure charger in a compound kit and we'll go for four digit HP. :thumb:

Exactly! It is one of the few chargers that will grow with just about anything you choose to do to the truck and doesn't seem to have any downsides.

1058 won't be the best with that charger. 1078 works very well. And I believe the "R" is the georend equivalent with stall and coupling.

Thats why i m goin to a fixed vane cause there simple and work well with a 58
