I'm just trying to get some ideas of whether i should put a bigger turbo on my LB7 without headstuds. I have had a few mixed opinions and wanted know if anyone has done it, what they are running for boost and power

probably talking about the rigs, how do i start a thread?

Find the area that pertains to the topic you want to start a thread on. In that area on the left side near the top you will see a button that says start a new thread.
Your question I would put in Hard Parts maybe.....

To be honest, I don't think you need studs depending on how much boost you were planning to run. Under 35psi I wouldn't worry about it. You may want to get some custom tuning though as the Edge may not have what you need in it to spool a bigger turbo.

Sure people work in the oilfield in Canada. Mainly northeastern BC all of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

I lived in Alberta for a few years and worked in the industry. No offence to anyone here that does it but I found the lifestyle to pretty bad. In my experience alot of people that do it work their asses off just to get a pay cheque then go blow it all irresponsibly in the 1 week they have off. Then they go back to work with no money just to do it all over again. I didnt really find the money that great either....it was good but there are other things that pay just as well or better.

Well said, I worked drilling rigs for 4 years back in the mid 90s
I was rich for a week.

I look at rigs as a stepping stone and if you wanna stay in the patch it was good for that ..... The lifestyle does get old! But hard to make 150-200k a year On a grade 10 education.
