Codes PO 0090/U1800

Codes will not clear/erase.

Has the computer or FICM failed?

Background: code PO 0090 had tripped and Truck would not start until code was cleared. Code PO 0090 would not clear after multiple attempts to clear and U1800 appeared on scanner.

I replaced cp3. Code will not clear

you need to check the wiring to the FPR, ohm it, check for voltage, etc. then test the FPR. you keep clearing the computers is probably causing the u1800

Sorry for not getting back to this sooner. Got busy with life.

Multimeter reads very little out of FPR output. 0.04, at best. Is there a fuse or relay that can be checked? I'm under the hood right now.

Why not post the explanation here where it can help others in the future? Not like there are any trade secrets around diagnosing a FPR.

Because we are in the secret itstheecmclubandyounotinvited club. Jojo needs a new ecm to regulate the few fpr.
