So I have been tinkering with some tunes in my lb7 I ended up loosing my oil pressure gauge after a full reflash then my cts says

pid not supported system will power off contact edge support. So my question is does the cts know the bin of the truck? After doing a full flash the vin change would mess with it?

Okay, cts is working I unplugged selected 12 volt instead of gm and did refresh factory setting. Works great, then I go to select the pid for oil pressure and freezes the system again and I have to do the 12 volt power source option refresh factory setting and all is well again.

So whatever has gone wrong with me oil pres gauge affects the lid aswell. Very odd any ideas????

Pins and bales all looked and felt fine. Is it possible I cooked the sending unit for the oil psi? I did a full flash with a few different tunes perhaps voltage changed or somthing I'm not sure.

Does anyone know the resistance in the sending unit? I picked up a new one, will change this week when trailer is off. Also I adjusted the tune for a long bed tank 128.70 liters I think and my gauge is not reading full, it's showing 3/4 very odd.

I didn't even see the responded here, thanks guys. I did do a full flash too an 02 factory tune didn't realize it was 02 till I was loading. Head up my but and in a hurry, I have switched back to an 03 with correct OS and the gauge is still on 0 to cold for a/c but all other climate controls work. Also cruise works. But I see my fuel gauge is off but I corrected to the large tanks 128.7 liters still. It reading correctly

Shouldn't the oil gauge come back with the OS corrected? Or can it damage sending unit? Or gauge,

Reflashed the 36006 OS and still oil pressure it is throwing a p0380 glow plug controller that is new. I'm going to be havin rob do a tune here soon, these are some tunes that were layin around. I don't truly know the trucks original OS due to it having had a bully dog loaded the day it came in to the dealer then we went EFI so I don't have a stock tune saved anywhere for it anymore. But I believe 36006 is ann03 OS?

6006 is an late 02 OS, not an 03-04. You need an 9004 which is the OS used in all 03-04 trucks, problem is there are probably over 100 different variants of it depending on your options, year, engine, climate control, gauges, and so on. Heck you can even lose your power windows by running the wrong tune. You need to either get your stock tune flashed in by somebody at a dealer or with TIS, or find somebody with TIS access and look up your segments and then look for a tune with the correct segments in it for your truck. 03-05 trucks are VERY picky about having the EXACT tune file in them.

Awsome help I just stumbled on an old thread where to unexplained his a bit. What's odd is when I pulled the OS off the truck it was 36006 before I flashed. The truck has had cluster issues in the last I'm curious if he dealer may have done somthing I think I have a few 9004 tunes around or will try and find one. Kat and pay have helped me a ton so thanks to them for walking me through this aswell as rob and Dustin and u guys

I can't get over how much help yall give thank you. If anyone has a stock or small tune 9004 and are willing to let me try it that would great. The truck is heavily loaded all options but is a 2 wheel drive

I have a 9044, 6853, and few stock 9044's I wish influx figure this out the dealer is gonna kill me on a factory flash! Damn it I'm not sure why I pulled a 36006
Out of it.

My buddy has an 04 gmc 2500 lb7 loaded very similar but is 4wd just would need to change tire size and fuel tank size, he should be the same OS I'm assuming.
