On the highway if im cruising at 60 or 70 mph, and i go from a little throttle to letting off throttle completely i notice a small clunk and it only happens sometimes. Would this be the splines that need lubricating on these trucks? that comes from rear of transfer case?? Any ideas

Drive the vehicle onto dual ramps or have the car raised to gain easier access to u joints.. Move the joint back and forth and up and down and see if there is a lot of play in the joints. If there is movement in the cross itself, replace that u joint. I had to replace the carrier bearing in the middle cause of vibration.. Was less than 50 bucks, Check it out..

It deffinatly sounds like something in the drive shaft makes since its under pressure when your in the throttel and when you let off that pressure releases.
