LLY: Climate control

Having issue with driverside of climate control automatically switching to hot while a/c is on, passenger side is uneffected. Shut off ignition and restart and its fine for awhile, seems to do it on hard acceleration up hill but not always the case, anybody have this issue before? It is not the digital controls. Truck is an 04.5

Mine does it all the time. It's likely the temp blend door actuator. I just unplugged them while it was cold. The drivers side one is easy to get to. Ac is always full cold. When winter comes around I'll replace it. Bottom of the hvac box near where the 4wd shifter is if yours is equipped.

Ok, I will check it out, pisses me off when it 90* out and it switches to heat!!! Lol, my wife just laughs at me!!

Yeah I know the feeling. I'd unplug that actuator one morning and if it doesn't act up for a few days that's most likely your issue
