Help: Clearing stock rims w/ lift????

I'm running the 4" cognito lift kit on 20" rims. Decided to go back to stock rims/285's last night but the U.C.A. is way to close to the sidewall of the tire. Roughly an 1/8" to scrub. I guess because of the different spindle won't allow correct b/s? Would there be enough room if I just added a 1/4" wheel spacer? Has anyone else added wheel spacers to the front? Wondering if I will have enough threads left for the lug nuts. Here are 2 pics:

TX of course
My understanding is that you could run the POYs with their kit. A 1/8" is as good as a mile, but I would contact Nick or someone at cognito.

Why the change johnathan? you guys dont get salt in the winter down there! ( lucky baastards!)

If its just to hot rod around in, you might want to try 265's for track/street play tires.

seems to be the only way to go. any ideas on which wheel spacers? i'm running 2" in the rear with studs from Fred @ wheel adapter but they are ridiculously expensive. not worth that much money IMO if you aren't using studs.

Called Fred @ Wheel Adapter this afternoon. He quoted me 150 shipped for 1/4". Would not charge more if I needed a different size after. I think it actually might be worth it money as wheel spacers are not something to joke about. Too many scary stories...

I think i'm just going to try these that way I'm out that much just in case 1/4 isn't enough.

I did some measuring and it looks like there should be 3/4" of stud left so hopefully thats enough

Those spacers say "not for trucks." LOL.

By the way, anyone ever figure out exactly what wheel you are supposed to run? My 20x8.5 MB Razors apparently have the same problem. I am running the 4" Cognito Kit with UCA, and I have wheel spacers now, but I am getting a slight bit of rub on some turns and the guys who installed it said Discount Tire probably won't work on them as is due to the spacers.

Thanks!

I have a tough country lift and had to use .40" spacers for my h2s. They were just cut down brake rotors.

I have a T.C. lift aswell and have to use a 5/16th wheel spacer on the front to clear the factory PYO's when drag racing.. Just some E-bay cheapy's but they have been over 130MPH in the 1/4 with out issue;)
