started cleaning today, nothing i had or the parts store could think of would work to get rid of the aluminum oxide... any ideas for polished aluminum rims?

sodium hydroxide mixed 50/50 spray on wipe off

watch out its caustic and will eat the skin off your hands

i use it all the time for cleaning concrete aluminum and cutting oil and grease.

call me before you try it you can screw up very quickly if you are not prepared and this will cause you alot more polishing work.

and yes it will work on wheels i do it all the time

what's that aircraft alum polish, Rolite? I used to use that on a 1962 Airstream I had. Talk about a shine!
