I fineally found something to clean the injector lines!

Lots of you wont care and never have to do this:)

If you DO its HELL! they ar a bitch to really clean up the threads that connect to the injector IMO

If you dont clean them, you risk chance of scale and crap destoying your injectors or atleast causing grief

I was temted to by all new lines because mine where so bad!And well im sick of cleaning parts:D

But i picked up a dremmal bit its a brass wire wheel bit # 536 and it cleans the threads of the collar and the face of the injector line....SO easy and Nice!!!

Brass is softer than the steel SO it wont damage you threads or the face

I will take pics so you guys that have never had to do this will understand what im talking about

as for the people that do this on a regular basis:eek: kuhdos to you!

If you look at Lonnies motor he has put SO MUCH work into makeing it look good! Its a lot of work!!!! bead blast works on some things BUT imo creates work as you have to clean the beads out after blasting!

All in All its work to get a used engine cleaned up! JMHO

Are these your stock lines that were full of crud Simon?

Yes

I Read where Wade from ATS ripped apart his motor and before the rebuild NOTED that you can get flakes of crap fall into the fuel lines and/or injectors:eek: After you see them pulled off you will see exactly what i mean

Not to mention the old motor was disgusting,I dont think the previous owner ever washed it! Ive have spent SO much time cleaning engine parts

The bead blaster is great!,but then you spend hours cleaning off the aftermath

I look at what Lonnie has done and think WOW! he has a lot of ???? I dont even know the word? Pride,Time, ambition?

Either way my motor will look a hell of a lot cleaner,After the rebuild:)
I am a clean freak when it comes to motors and want to know if there is a leak that i can find the source
