Drove my truck to the paint shop today without hood, grille, bumpers, doors and the rear glass covered.
Compared to the LB7 I drove in to get there my truck felt like a Jeep w/o doors. Idle was a little choppy .... don't remember what tune I loaded last  and the throttle too touchy to drive in stop and go traffic like a funny car, almost.
Can't wait to see the truck tomorrow with the new paint applied

I know: :nopic:

Here is the current project status....the paint turned out to be a lot more bluish as we expected......
Anyway, I like ! The paint is called Grigio Palladio and is a Maserati paint. With less light or looking at it from an angle
the blue will disappear and turn into a dark gray.

No pics...sorry. The hood and doors are back on, the interior was completely apart, lots of sound deadener found its way into the cab and doors, power windows installed but not wired.
Seats and door panels being upholstered right now.
Mirrors, door handles and bumper in primer, will be done in the next couple of days.
It sure takes a lot longer than anticipated, but having a 10+ hour job and a truck 30miles away from work and home does not make it any easier. I probably travelled about 4000 miles by now just to work on the truck. :D
