It kinda sounds like my stock VVT. Ben post the "better quality" video when you get a chance thanks a lot.
I found that different tuning would effect the whistle with the HTT,I did love the sound....but i think larrys is louder
like I said, I dont know how to compare "loudness"
Its just a different kind of sound. To be honest, and I dont mean any offence, but IMHO loud VVT's are just kind of too shrill and maybe boarderline obnoxious; the noise goes right through my head. That being said Ive never heard a Cheetah, but Ive heard and ridden in 03-04 6.0 PSD's and it just got annoying.
In person he HTT sounds nothing like a LLY VVT. When messing around next to my buddy on the highway with his 05, I cant even really hear his turbo.

I'll get a better sound clip posted up, The last ones were taken with a cheap digital camera. The turbo really doesnt sound shrill, it has a very cool sounding whistle, especially when driving. With the foot really in the throttle though, the exhaust rumble cancels out the turbo whistle. The best part of the sound is the cycling down of the turbo when letting out of the throttle or when you turn the truck off. The best way to describe it is a jet engine sound.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be a bad influence, I will try and refrain from posting anything today
No muffler or cat converter but it is split into duels
Figured out that opening the vanes up significantly quietens up the whistle, now if I could only get some smoke back :baby:
