Checking in, new to the diesel world

New member as of yesterday, just thought I would make a post to introduce myself. Nissan mechanic by trade, just bought my first diesel three weeks ago. 2006 GMC 3500 lbz with a ton of miles. Bought to pull my drag car(avatar pic) and trailer. Been borrowing trucks for a year and half to pull with and figured it was time to step up and get my own truck that was big enough. Trailer is a 48' haulmark(gvwr 21k) and to say the least its a load behind the truck even being a dually.

Im not sure whats up with my avatar pic, but my car is a 02 trans am. Runs high 10's on motor(usually terrible da around here), just now getting the new tune finished up and should be ready to start on the nitrous tunes within the next few outings.

It's nice in the summer. Winter suck. lol. We do have a dragstrip in Palmer/Butte.
