Check engine lights !

ok so i was driving around today and randomly got a check engine light had it scanned and it came back P0540 " a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the intake heater " WTF does that mean?!?

MODS- PPE ghetto intake / DPF and muffler delete NO tune yet

haha well i did a cat delete on the truck im new to diesels so i called it a cat the guy at the muffler shop was calling it a DPF so its straight from the turbo back now

Mine threw a CEL when my glow plug controller module went out and said somethig about intake hear if I remember correctly. Bought one on here for $60, 10 minute fix but I'm also new to diesels and my truck is a lb7

If you have a DVOM I would check the voltage going to the intake heater.
