Try Unhooking batteries for 5-10 minutes. Or it may go off after enough key cycles. or go by an advance auto/AutoZone/oreillys parts store. Sometimes they'll clear cel if they're cool.

I would buy you a scan tool from Autozone or Oreilly's etc. They are fairly inexpensive and small I keep mine in the center console. I have used mine several times since the DSP 5 install. To give you an example, we left on a trip three weeks ago. Pulling the 5th wheel. Hadn't got 5 miles from home and it went into limp mode and wouldn't shift out of second. Put it on the scan tool and it showed error on 2nd gear ratio. I wasn't pulling hard or anything along that line. Cleared the code and haven't had a problem since. It was like it was confused between the ECM and the transmission module. The custom tunes are great, but at least on mine there have been little gremlins running loose every once in a while. Last year while out in Sturgis I used it to diagnose the MAF sensor went bad and bought a new one. Replaced it in about 5 minutes for the cost of the sensor. It's hard telling how much a shop would have charged especially out on the road.

I had a similar issue with my S&B initially. I reset it several times with autocal. I then cleaned it with MAF sensor cleaner/cleared with autocal and it finally went away with the combination of those two. Some of the oiled filters can wreak havoc on the sensor. My :2cents:
