so i had been wanting to put a dmax in my s10 and i finally found and engine for a very reasonable price it has one bad piston because the injector got stuck open...i was just curious on a rough price i should be looking at for it

depends ive spent 2g's for an lb7 with 2000 miles on it for a bare long block that didnt need anything or between 750 to a grand if they are broke if its a complete engine a grand or less atleast the market up here thats what they go for and you have to quick or it will disapear on you.good luck and let us know how it goes 
Just found one on craigslist for $2500 obo. Has 150k on the clock and a bad head gasket hahaha thought it was ridiculous. Guess it depends on were your at.
I have never paid more than 1000 for a core engine that didnt run when pulled. all the motors had holes in pistons/melted pistons.
You must not have seen my post,i have an 02 lb7 motor but i may have the short block sold but if i dont ill let you know unless your set on buying that 1
bllksmokelb7 i would but im stationed back in cali so it would be a little difficult for me to get that one i have seen it for sale im just not in the right area
