I haven't changed the fuel filters on my fass since August of 15, but they only have 3,000 miles on them. Should I change them out just because of time? I only drive it about 2,000 miles a year, so things like this seem like they are way over due.

Most filters are good for about a year. I doubt your filters are actually bad though. But in older hydraulic filers the element actually gets hard and doesn't pass much through.

The other concern is if any water settles inside them, they will start rusting from the inside out.
