Ceramic coated pedistal

Just coated the outside with a titanium coating 2000f

Not sure if it will do anything?.....but it matches my valve covers now

I want to see how it handles the outside first....Didn't want it to flake off as it is a pretty thick coating.

Foreign matter passing through the turbine is uh.....less-than-desirable!
I used a 2000* ceramic on all my exhaust-side parts.............but I ain't never heard of a titanium coating.

IIRC Ti coating is not ment to be much of a thermal barrier but rather to work like a high temp paint.

This is a ceramic coating. When i talked with them they had 3 flavors
the :quote:Titanium was the only one that they said would go to 2000f the others where 1400-1500


I have also used the spray paint...this i would say is twice as nice for three times the price

No kidding, thats pretty neat. I was thinking it was Ti nitride like what tooling it coated with.

I used VHT header coating on the up pipes and manifolds....Hope that helps


I will repeat this though the pedistal was NOT spray painted.
