Census 2010, or 1984?

I know, we don't do political threads here, so if any mod deletes this, I understand.

First, our census says "Your Response Is Required By Law". Yeah? IIRC, the government is to take a census per the Constitution. The Constitution does not say to threaten the citizens first, then take a census.

Second, our census is in 100% English. Uh, our voting ballots are in Spanish, our welfare documents are in Spanish, and our Driver's License application is in Spanish, then why not the census? Why aren't you printing "We Will Throw You In Jail If You Don't Fill This Out" in Spanish? The bureaucrats don't think much of us legal citizens I guess. They believe we need threats in order to do our duty as citizens, but illegals don't need any prodding.

Third, why is my Gender, Exact Birthdate, Race, Home Ownership, or Telephone Number a criteria for voting rights? Are you going to give me better voting status depending on what age I am? My gender? My race? My living arrangements? My area code?


I've always filled these out in the past, but they have gotten more and more invasive each time. They are allowed to ask # of people who are living there, that's it. Nothing else.

I'm thinking of wiping my ass with it, then mailing it back. They should be able to determine everything they need to know by the poopstain. They see the stain, examine it closely, then check the tax records for the information they seek...

are government is no longer, and has not been for along time. It is just a facade and tool of the power elite to agent social control of the former U.S.A, but now, America, Inc. is out see what new levels of slavery are possible with the new citizenry. It is sad to see that we no longer need chains to be slaves, to a system that we did not create, but we participate in daily not out of choice, but because it just so happens to be there. If that is not complacent laziness, and the epitome of piled-up human bs because the natural gravity of self-indulgent comfort is so well marketed, glorified and made 'ok' that i am surprised that 'personal responsibility' is still in the english vernacular.

Ours in Canada say basically the same thing and I always fill it out. My brother inlaw has never filled one out, he just throws it in the trash and he has never even gotten a phone call. He also throws out his jury duty papers. I got picked to a in depth census about sexual behaviour of Canadians. A lady came to my house and she said my wife wasn't allowed to be in the room when I took the test. My wife left and then the girl started asking me how many sexual partners I've had, how many times I've had unprotected sex with new partners, she asked me to check off on a list what sexually transmitted diease's I've had. You thought the normal census was invasive. I actually never answered any of these questions I said they were nobodies business but my own. I actually thought for minute my wife hired this girl to come quiz me. LOL The funny part is about 4 months later we read the statistics in the newspaper from the census and I wasn't the only one to tell them to go fly a kite.

then they sent me the census, and i filled it out and mailed it back,

For race, we picked other and then wrote American.

Seriously, it took me 10 seconds to fill it out. I put "04" in for number of people, and put it in the envelope.

Mine was hand delivered and placed in the front porch that never gets used except by my ups man dropping off goodies I would of never found it except I was expecting a package today and checked in there. I am a little confused why it is needed to know that info. Dont all us citizens have social security numbers and birth certificates that show name and age along with race? The IRS has no problem finding people. I am not into politics but am not satisfied how things are run in the us anymore.
