LB7: CEL / Glow Plug indicator

When I turn my key on my glow plug indicator stays on and the CEL comes on. Truck cranks, glow plug light goes off but CEL stays on. No codes are thrown though??? Any ideas?

John you probably got a bad controller or maybe a bad glow plug. Get up with me ans I will check or for you.
