Hey guys
I hope I get this right, I'm new to this site so I apologize in advance if I 'm doing this wrong.
I have 02 duramax lb7 with 260 thousand mi. The injectors are about 2 mths old and up until yesterday it was running great.
I was going down the road at about 70mph. when it was like I lifted off the pedal, it started running on about 4 cyl. and if I pushed it it acted like it would die.
I went to have the codes read and I shut it down to talk to someone about it, when I restarted it the fuel gauge read empty where it showed 3/4 of a tank before.
I got codes for all kinds of stuff = injector circuit condition, control module, open or shorted fuel injector fuel, return fuel line blocked just to name a few.
There is quite a few more but the short of it is I can't believe all this happened at once. I believe there is a common problem here that has caused all this to happen at the same time.
If anyone has had this happen to them or know what in the world is going on I'd be real happy to hear from you.
Thanks Cecil

When a ton of seemingly unrelated DTCs set at once, it is often an electrical issue wrecking havoc with the computer systems in the truck.

Believe it or not, a bad or weak ground can cause all sorts of issues.

Go ahead and post up the list of DTCs (one or more might give us a pointer). But also look over your harness. Is it possible you hit some small piece of debris that was thrown up and pinched/damaged the harness? Look under the driver's side by the transmission and firewall.

Welcome Cecil, when you get a minute go to user cp and fill out your signature listing model, configuration, and all the mods done to the truck. This can help the guys diagnosing for you.

The truck is a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500hd 6.6 duramax w/allison trans,with no mods.
I hope this help everyone,it's been along time since I was mechanic that worked for someone who paid me to get things right like make, model & yr.
