Allison 6sp: CCSB LMM running 8.30s in 1/8th

How long will the stock 6 speed take that? My truck clicked off a 8.30 last weekend. Hurt a full bolt on, cam, 3200 stall, RCSB 5.3 truck lol

Some guys get lucky and they last a long time, others not so much although doing that all the time definitely isn;t doing the trans any favors lol

5 and 6 speeds are two different ball games. My 5 speed limped constantly on a small edge tune. Derek06 ran his LBZ on built trans tunes for 3 years and pulled every weekend and didn't burn it up.

Every truck is a little different. I'll bet the TCM is pulling timing and fuel already. You will go quicker with a stronger trans.
