catching up with EFILive

It has been around 2 years since I have tuned my truck with EFILive. When my wife told me I was going to be a father I kind of put everything except work and family on the back burner. I want to start playing with my truck again but I think I need a tutorial on how to get my EFILive software and V2 firmware up to date. I am very confused on the 7 and 8 versions of the software.

My questions are:

What do I need to do to get my software up-to-date on my computer and V2?

What are the current version numbers each should be on?

And any tips on getting back to working with EFILive?

Robert, we did a full software update yesterday - the thread is posted here http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25395.

Basically, you need to install 2 pieces of software - V7 then V8. Once V8 is installed you'll need to go to the Upgrading Firmware document located at start>programs>efilive>v8>documents.

You'll need to determine what firmware/bootblock you currently have which will determine what upgrade processes you need to follow.
