any vendors on here or anyone know of a company who makes 4" flow through converters? the only place ive found anything so far is frozen boost but they dont have anything over 3" listed on there site. i sent an email but no response yet. thanks.

Magnaflow makes a 4" for the Duramax and a 5" universal that your exhaust shop can weld on.

thanks but im looking for a flow through converter, so a straight pipe that looks like a converter. dont need to do an e-test. just need it for looks. frozen boost has them up to 3" for like 40 bucks. not looking to spend hundreds of dollars.
because i was an idiot and scraped it when i pulled off the stock exhaust 4 yrs ago.
Surely somebody has a stock one laying around they would get rid of cheap. May try putting up a WTB thread.

I have a Diamond Eye quiet tone exhaust on my truck, and the front resonator is often (always, so far) mistaken for a cat. Maybe you can pick up that piece cheap? My whole system was very affordable, so that piece might be dirt cheap.

Try these sizes in the Walker brand Resonators at Summit, also look on their site for Magnaflow cats, they come in four types and flow better than stock per my conversation with Magnaflow tech support. Magnaflow has two available in the 4", offset and no offset.

It could be a "visual" test to make sure all the factory emissions equipment is still in place.
In ontario if you have farm plates u don't need and etest, but if I were too get pulled over by the ministry of environment, they want to see all the parts. They will do a snap test as well so I can just switch the dsp 5 back to stock tune. I was never worried about it, but ive heard of some people who have had trucks pulled off the road lately.
