catalytic converter

i am putting my LB7 up for sale and need a cat. i dont know where the original one went so i am on a hunt for another. being this is the california version i will need a CARB approved one. probably the easiest is one from craigslist.

do any of you know what years will work for the LB7 cat? will any 03-07.5 exhaust systems interchange or is there differences between these years?

i know the downpipe is different but from there on back???

Pretty sure a lly would work. lb7/lly had the 4 bolt flange front pipe and lbz+ was slip fit

i was hoping to be able to leave the downpipe in place and replace the front pipe and everything behind it.

if the front pipe connects up to the downpipe with a v-band in the same place it should work. My LMM and LB7 look the same as far as the downpipe to Front pipe v-band connecting goes. was not sure about the cat though.

I know the lmm cat is a different design, but an lly cat should work fine I would think.

Sure is and it is one piece from the downpipe to either the flange of slip clamp...:thumb:
