Cat pissed in my truck!

So last weekend my girlfriends cat attacked her while she was holding a baby and completely shredded up her legs. So bad we have been in and out of the urgent care and emergency room for all week. Well needless to say he wasn't gonna be in my house any longer so that day I took him for a ride. Well I was so mad I didn't even think about the possibility that he could piss in my truck so I sat his cage on the back seat. When I got home I realized he left me a present on my seat and I have been trying to remove the smell and no dice anyone have suggestions?

Would it have run on to the carpet somehow? Or seat padding? If it did, u will prolly have to remove it from truck and let it dry out in sun. The carpet pad and seats are like sponges. Only way is to let it breath and dry itself.

He only got the seat I have used a cleaner from petsmart that was supposed to work but did nothing was gonna remove seat to get at it better but wasn't sure what to use

Thank you I hope so too she had some deeps cuts that got infected and her leg got swollen for a few days glad antibiotics have been kicking in and doing there job. Seats are cloth also guess that is worse that they are

the seats come apart I bet you could wash the pad and wash the cover let them dry and assemble. IIRC the seats use a heavy duty velcro not the old hog rings so they arent all that hard to take apart. worst case is you can buy the soiled parts off gmpartsdirect.com and replace.

yeah I would say that would work not sure about the cover might just try warm water first. only think i would beconcerned about it get the fabric to lay back down and match the other seats....you know how they look when they get wet and scrubbed on. so might just try soaking and then patting dry with a terry cloth and then air dry

I personally would look at it as an opportunity to get a new seat, the smell will always be there.

Petsmart sells some stuff you can spray on. It takes a lot of it to kill cat piss smell, but it might be worth a try.

Cat urine is organic, you need an Ozone generator to kill the smell, remove the seat, get a mattress bag, insert seat in mattress bad, duct tape a 4" dryer hose into the bag and attatch the other end to the ozone generator, run it for a few hours and that will kill the smell.

I found this out from a friend who works at a dealership, they have a few of these ozone machines and every car that has been smoked in or has a pet smell or bad smell gets the treatment.

It works and it also is good for household use.

Go to a cleaning supply place and get something with 'live' or 'active' enzymes in it. Some pet stores carry it too.

Get a bbq type syringe, like you inject juice into a turkey with. Squirt the enzymes into your cushion if you can without making a noticable hole. Otherwise soak the seat wig a spary bottle and the enzyme juice.

HAHA im not one to endorse animal cruility but, that cat didnt know what hit him. when I came into the room he was on my GFs leg and I threw a Mike tyson punch his way sending him across the room and he came back for more second punch made him thim twice lol. I was Gonna just let my dog in the room to finsih him off (Rotty) but I figured taking him for a ride was a cleaner choice lol. Thank you guys for all the great ideas and advice I will try it all out today after work!

I went to dump trash into our dairy dumpster at night and a cat used my face and arms as traction. Not much of a cat person anymore. Nearly all the little cuts left small scars IIRC.
