In the interest of safety, a new rule at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton is in effect now requiring all vehicles to be fitted with engine bay diapers or they have to pay a fine if the oil down the track. This applies to all vehicles and fines are based on how severe and how long the spill is.

I know they are available for the Dodges already :roflmao: but does anyone know if you can get them for a Dmax? You can still race without them but if you oil the track be prepared to pay.

This is a track rule for ALL VEHICLES as stated in post 1.
I don't think this will hurt attendance as A-you can race without it, it's just if you oil it down you gotta pay whatever the fine is and B-The likelyhood of a sportsman truck or stock vehicle with minor mods oiling the track isn't very likely.

I lost a final in bracket racing a couple years ago to a coin toss because we couldn't finish before it started raining. Reason we couldn't finish before the rain, some tard in a gasser "forgot" to tighten his oil filter and oiled it from the 100' mark to the end of the track.

Hopefully this rule makes people take a little more care when they prep their vehicle for race day.
