Took Casper to Westech Performance in Miraloma CA today to get some data on the PPE twins. These are intended for land speed racing, so the goal was to lower EGT's and extend the RPM range.

So I used a fairly small shot of pump diesel and ran it up to 4500rpm. It made 790rwhp at 4500rpm, and boost was still climbing. EGT's were 1450 deg peak with that fueling. The serpentine belt jumped the track, and the water (pure) injection was malfunctioning, so I cut the day short.

It is a good improvement from our Bonneville setup last year, but we are going to need 900rwhp @ 4500, and a little lower EGT's to go 200mph.

Certainly no dyno queen #'s, but I'm OK for now. We are going make some changes and try to optimize it a bit more. It runs very smooth on the street except for traction issues, and has good throttle response. We can add about 30% more fuel when the time comes.

This is just step one, and should be back again to Westech in the near future to dial it up a notch.

What I like about your trucks Pat is they perform on the street. I see some posting about dyno numbers they hit but it dosen't perform like it has those numbers. Casper has always ran great and your setup is always atleast from what I read about it on top of the game being land speed or drag racing. Congrats on the shake down numbers.
