Hello All,
The Truck: 2003 LB7 (+200K Miles). WA/Idaho truck without EGR.
-There is soot/carbon dust on the inside of the compressor housing/exit on the turbo. It is not wet, so it does not seem like an oil leak.
-From what I researched the PCV is already routed properly on the LB7's so its not excess crank gasses going through the turbo.
My theory is that the hot/cold sides of the turbo are not sealing completely and exhaust gas is bypassing.
Does this make logical sense? Or am I off base completely?
