Does anyone have the old school, conventional car phone setups in their truck?

I love the old bag phone/pedestal style of the old days for their simplicity, higher output power, external antenna, etc, but they are hard to find now, and service for them.

I saw Motorola just put out the M900 bag phone that works on GSM so it will work with my AT&T service...

Dialing pad with a speakerphone setup then a privacy handset. They also have accessory for an external handset and hangup, so that would work.

Also found this setup.... it isnt actually a phone, but a bluetooth accessory to yours... not a bad idea! Not sure on pricing....

So.... anyone have any experience with either? Either a whole phone system hard mounted for a vehicle, or a handset type accessory (for iPhone). Thanks!

ALOT of the BMW's I work on have them:spit: Removed a few of them. Newer 7 Series have an iteration. You put your cell into a docking station and has a slide-out keypad in the dash:D

The most classic thing ive seen was in an old 914 Porsche... It was a full size dial-type phone that took up the whole console and had like 10 line buttons:rofl:

That bluetooth one is kinda cool!
