cant log tunes

some reason i cant get to log any tunes -every time is reads error 11
generating error report or something like that
anyone have a step by step i could try
ive used trippins quick start guide and that dosent work for me either
what the heck am i doin wrong?

but you can connect to the vehicle and change tunes?

you just cant log?

is it set to lbz and the lbz pids are selected?

will it connect to the vehicle?when you open scan tool

i can load and change tunes fine
just cant log them-yes i selected lbz and imperial and all that
but as soon as i hit the record yellow/red button it generates an error report # 11 and i cant get any further than that

While in scantool, did you go to edit, properties, logging and make sure all the correct boxes are checked?

i followed all the instructions and was able to log a few times when i first got efi live but not since then can i log -i get a response 11 as soon as i hit the record button
can someone please please please give me the exact step by step process so i dont go crazy and also so i can find out if its my scan tool or the software or whatever

is that $11 ? might have a pid thats not supported and its kicking back at you. I had something similar happen once to me. have you tried to just monitor and nto log? does that work?

yes its $11-ive tried both to log and to read and both do the same thing
the error report also says mode not supported or something like that
