My wife ran out of fuel, as usual. I put fuel and in and prime, the wife starts the truck with foot pressing pedal all the way down. It starts but the rpm's went real high. She took foot off pedal and the rpm's stayed reved so she turned the key off. Black smoke came out of exhaust and water started leaking. I put a new water pump in, tested gplugs needed up replacing two plugs. Got a new cerp belt on, I got two new batterys, but I had to warranty them both in three times in three days because they are dead by morning. The started was tested and is said to be good. I had a one test code of P0380. What is the problem. My truck is a 2004 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax ls 6.6 turbo 4wheel drive.
