LLY: Can't flash with V8

I keep getting "no data received" while trying to flash with the v8 software. Good fuse, cig lighter works. I hear alot of people can't start their trucks after that error, but mine still starts. Just won't take the dsp5 tune. :confused:

Change it. Just put ".tun" after it I stead of ".ctz". Or open it with v8 then go to edit and it will say edit in v7.5.

If it locked like that it needs to be in v8 then. I assume you are using an autocal then? Pass through flashing?

V2. I got it flashed, i called ATP and they had me pull the ABS fuse too. I pulled, radio, radio amp, info, and ABS. Had the first 3 pulled, and after the ABS was pulled it flashed right on. :woott:

Guess ill start pulling the abs fuse also

There has been issues in the public release software for LLY flashing via V8. These have been fixed in the March software releases. Please make sure you are running the latest release posted yesterday. http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?22369-EFILive-RC-2-(March-28-2013) (although it was fixed in the earlier release made this month too)

As already mentioned, if your controller was previously locked, you will need to unlock it to gain access to flash it again.
