Well Ive decided that Im tired of my back seat getting chewed by my dogs and the fur in there is crazy and so is the smell. I am looking into getting a canopy. I cant quite figure out if my bed is 5'8" or the 6'5" but thats alright for now. Ive done a bit of looking and decided I like the LEER models, preferably the 100XR but the prices seem crazy high. Does anyone have any opinions or know of similar brands that are cheeper. I was planning on making a stub wall type thing all the way across the bed from the front to somewhere around the wheel wells and pad the bottom and sides to prevent them from having to much space to go flying if I have to stop quick or something. Anyone done anything like this?

Have you considered one of these?

It's a ballistic nylon rear seat cover for an Avalanche that fits our CCs perfectly...the P/N is 17803464 and I think I got mine for something like $50 or $80. In either case it was cheaper than the material costs alone would have been to make one and it is stout...

I have an A.R.E. Z on mine. Been on there for almost 5 years now, with no issues. They are not cheap.

The Pic isn't showing up. I don't know if it is because I'm not a member over there

Yes that might be it. Just trying to avoid redundant uploads. I'll put it on here.

I like that seat cover. You picked it up at a dealer? Does it stay down pretty well? I had one before but it wasnt very thick and didnt go up over the folded down seats and the dogs chewed through it then crapped on the part they chewed through:mad: They are now getting old enough that they dont puke and shit everytime we drive so maybe that would work for now.

Yep, it's a dealer item. You can find it on-line, but have to look for Avalanche accessories. I just gave my local dealer the number and they had it for me in a couple of days for a price as good as I could find.

It fits well and stays put with all of the crap I throw back there; and, seems like it will take a lot of abuse. Not trying to talk you out of a cap, but I imagine the pooches would be much happier up front with you....:D

I have one of those for my 3 dogs. I love it. Machine washable too. $45 from gmpartsdirect dot com.

I usually have it rolled up behind the seats ready for deployment.

now is there any way to unlock the front windows and keep the rear ones locked?
