I had a couple customers asking if I could re calibrate their TPMS. When they do after market wheels or just dont want to air their stock tires to 80psi in the rear the TPMS light comes on. DOes anyone know if we can change it?

The dealer can do it for you. I think they charge like $50 or so. According to the the only limit on re-calibration is the the front and rear desired PSI cant be too far apart. Doesn't make sense but that is what I was told. I asked for 45 front and 35 rear and I got 38 rear and 42 front.

A dealer near me told me they wouldn't touch it under warranty. So i went back after the warranty (I think that stuff is 36,000 right?). Then they said they can't. I asked them if that means "they can't" or they don't know how. They had never heard of doing it (that day).

The tech said he could air my tires up so the light would go out, and the service manager said I should put a piece of electrical tape over the light.

No joke.
