I have a mono amp that will run one 10" sub under the rear seat on a LMM. Can the factory bose subwoofer be kept or does it have to be unhooked so the RCA wires from the amp can plug in? I assume there is not extra inputs to add another set of rca wires but i would rather keep the factory sub hooked up if possible.

Not exactly sure on the NBS trucks, But I have my Bose system (Amp/Sub) in conjunction with 2 down firing subs under the rear seat with a seperate fosgate Amp running them.

Thats what i will have except i will have one sub in a down firing box. A guy on DF said i will need a "line out to rca adaptor". He said the factory deck doesent have rca hook ups. Now i have to find out how/where the adaptor hooks up in the factory deck.

dont use a line output converter. It will sound like crap.

Use an actual adapter that plugs in behind the radio from PAC.

x2 use the PAC adaptor.

I added a JL 10'' / Kicker ZR240 amp in conjunction with my factory bose and it sounds great.

Instead of having the bass maxxed on my radio , now i need to turn it down LOL:D

Oh, ok..nobody has brought that up to me yet. Where can i get one of the pac converters? Is there spliceing involved, or how does it hook up once plugged into the factory deck?

Thanks for that link. The pac looks to me to be a better alternative to do the job. Does that part number include everything thats needed?

Im sure when i get my hands on it, i could figure it out but are the installation directions pretty clear?
