I guess it depends on if you drive like a Grandma....you can run a 500HP tune all day long on a stock transmission, until your right foot gets heavy. 70-75HP is what I believe to be the highest you can run and still have fun with the truck.

i run a 400 to 450 rwhp tune and my stock allison does not like it at all the highest you will want to go is like a 70-75 like kodiak said if you want to be completely sure your not going to limp. there is real line though, you kind of have to test the waters

You'll be ok for a while. The time will depend on how much you beat on it.

A 2006+ is going to take a lot more abuse than 2001-2005's will.

But like everyone has said, your driving style is going to have a huge effect on how long it will hold 150rwhp (460rwhp).

Approx. how much of a PPE level 2 (90hp) makes it to the rear wheels on an LBZ ? I believe I also read a stock LBZ is around 300 rwhp, is that correct ?

I ran the ppe tunes on my truck but I had the transgo jr in at 500 miles and it had 313 on it when I bought it. When I tore mine down and upgraded mine my clutches looked great for what I use my truck mainly for. C3's had a few tiny spots on them but was the only ones so I replaced them but didn't have to. Ran all the ppehot+2e.t tunes except level 7 and ran it at the track on level 4 before upgrades. I always made sure it learned the program before I got after it but in no way does this mean they can take it without issue. I drive around with a light foot 90% of the time and tow the same way. Your driving style will be what makes anything on your truck last. Drive like a retard your truck will become handicapped also.
