Can someone fill me in on this

I have been hearing from a couple of dodge guys that there is a limit to what a chevy ecm can be flashed is this true the say after 100,000 times that the ecm will go bad or something like that

Dam. That means if I flash it twice a day it will only last me about 137 years

I'm sure there might be a limit as with any computer hardware but I doubt any of us will ever see one fail from flashing.
