Hey guys, I really want to replace my Turbo Mouthpiece, from what I have read it's a great thing to do if you pull, or whatever. My scenario happens to be that I already have the Banks intake installed on my truck, has been for a year now. Would it be possible, and if possible how difficult, to install an LBZ MP and have it fit with the intake? If not, would the AfE MP that is out there work better? Food for thought: My truck never throws a code related to MAF. Would it be wise to re-cal the MAF even if I do not install the MP? Thanks for your guys tips.

i had a full airraid intake on mine, bought the lbz mp and intalled it, marked the airraid torque tube where needed and cut it to fit, got a simple hump hose from the hose store.
you will need to "shave the bottom side of the lbzmp tho or it will rub a hole in the egr cooler line.
i used a metal grinding whele for mine as its on the seam and wanted to make 100% sure it stayed sealed tight so i used the metal grinder so it would melt it together as it cut the extra off

And the answer is... No. I replaced the mp with the stock lbz one, and even when using a 3-4 inch reducer the intake elbow is too long and the end result is me smh cursing myself. However, I did maNate to make something out of it by sticking the black Banks sleeve into the mp. But the rubber flex piece that connects the elbow to the air box is strained quite vigorously, and overall it looks like poo. Can anyone recommend anything to do about this? I may just go back to my stock intake and use the saw method. On a second note, I also performed my fingerstick, and it didnt work properly, probably because I deleted my egr rather than just blocking it so my valve is in a junkyard somewhere. And my tuner is freezing on me...damn, not a good day in the helm household lol. However I did successfully complete he pcv reroute though. Any opinions on these things are welcomed as well.
