Question: Can I install cruise control?

My truck was a WorkTruck package so no cruise control, can I add it & if so how?

use a stick, pre-cut for you desired speed

and wedge it between your seat and throttle

From what I have read all you have to do is get the multifunction lever that has cruise control and replace it with yours that does not. They dont make seperate wiringing harnesses for trucks that dont have cruise. And you might have to have the ECM reprogrammed.

There is a box under the hood right next to the master cylinder that controls the cruise control

No there isn't.... The ECM controls Cruise Control. The wires from the Multifunction switch go right to the ECM, and since the ECM controls fueling 100% (unlike older vehicles with a throttle body and throttle cable), no other boxes or cables are needed.
