My truck is officially down; probably a cracked piston. Am in process of tear down to find out. So I am forced to direct my energy and efforts towards a rebuild. This is also why I have parts for sale on another thread.
So I have fingers pistons on order but need to decide on valve reliefs for an aftermarket cam. I can go with the stock cam or I can get either the comp tow or street strip cam. Below are the specs. Input is greatly appreciated.

Tow cam: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-132-500-12
Race cam: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-132-502-12

Thanks!

I'm confused by your numbers, stock cam is
duration at 0.050 is int-176* exh-176*
Adv duration is int-242* and exh-242*
Lift is .286" intake and .233" exhaust which is .389" int valve lift and .394" exh valve lift

Those are cam doctor numbers on stock lly cam, I also have cam doctored and ran a socal 3388 on street. Better numbers than cam u posted and I liked it on street truck, plus no need to fear valve clearance to piston, or do valve reliefs and I could maybe get u a more aggressive street regrind from another company...

One thing to know is that the cams you mentioned are not keyed unless Comp has changed what they are doing. There will be added cost for using those if that was part of the reason for considering them. There are plenty of options out there. Randy's Machine, DTS, Bullet Cams, Crower Cams, SoCal Diesel and many others. Cams are not cheap but neither is any other parts for these trucks. If you where to use one of the cams that you list the smaller one would be more in your usable power range.
