Camera in 3rd brake light

I am looking at 2019 3500's and was wondering if anyone added the 3rd brake camera to assist in 5th wheel hitching.

I was told that it was a pain to activate. You had to press and hold a button for 5+ seconds to get that camera activated? Also can it be viewed while driving?

Are you talking aftermarket or factory? I don't think it was a factory option in 2019. My Denali doesn't have it. I can usually hook the goose up without it on first try, sometimes with a minor adjustment on 2nd attempt. A camera would be nice though.

Was looking for a factory option, but was told that an aftermarket was available through the dealer -- Intellihaul maybe?

I have issues seeing the hitch when I put my Honda 6500 in the front of the bed for dry camping (NASCAR tracks)

was at the GMC dealer the other day and my friend showed a system he installed that has a GM p/n on it.4 or 5 cameras and an interface box.worked w/ the factory touch screen.
really slick unit.

I've got the system on my truck, side mirror camera's, 3rd brake light looking into my bed and the wireless one.
Pretty f n awesome. Only problem i've got now is my trailer camera on the back of my toy hauler 5er. 45' back and it loses signal sometimes.
