I believe that is Greg Hogue's car? And if so, member Johnboy is helping with the tuning on it. They ran into a couple issues but my understanding is that it should be ready here soon. Definitely a sweet ride!!!

I'm not a fan of that stuff. If it were mine I'd rather it be a blown rat motor. Not my style but nice car though

Shut that blasphemy! :getout:

j/k. I sorta understand but that is a sweet build up. And if you haven't heard one of these Dmaxes run with parallel turbos and true dual exhaust, you might be in for a treat!! They give me a chub.

Greg was just getting the word out about it. Car is owned by a young man named Tyler. Most of the Assembly and Fab work is being done by TommyGun on here. You are correct I am helping out with tuning.

Not fan of hign horsepower, quick cars, that run pump fuel, and get good milage? Anybody can do a big block. Nothing wrong with them just boring.

Your correct Mitch. It does not sound like a diesel at all. On the dyno it sounds like a big block. Even has the big block crackle. :happy2:

Beautiful car. Funny how some of those posters don't like it......that thing will blow the doors off a BBC and get probably 30mpg. I'd been thinking about an MPI/Dmax powered '55 Nomad or '62 Impala. But a diesel looks to fit ok in that Camaro so that's another possibility.

There's a 5.9L Cummins-powered 67 Camaro (Chad Riley) in the October issue of DP. I would love to see these two 67s go head to head.

My 79 Camaro will be equipped with a Dmax eventually. 500+ hp/ 20+ mpg/ and will last a long time. Not much better than that
