I received a "call-out" message from a user = Cheeto-cruster? or something:

So you said you couldn't tune to run the 1/8 mile so I found you a tuner..... Steve Cole and while your here trying to "show us" what y'all got make sure you bring your whole dirtymax crew to cecil, by the way post your fastest quarter time so we'll know how to tune our truck. :thumb:

I guess I'm supposed to forward it to the G&J crew? Not sure.

I have a feeling Crusty doesn't know where Cecil County Dragstrip is. Or he just plain sucks at geography. DirtyMax is based out of Montana, IIRC, which might also begin with an "M", but isn't anywhere near Maryland.

Maybe it was intended for Dockboy? I think he's from Maryland but he drives a Dord or a Fodge or something.

Normally I don't post PM's, but in this case, I don't think it was sent to the right person. First of all, I don't have a LB7 so how could Cole do tuning for me? Nor do I have a truck named DirtyMax, nor am I going to Maryland in the forseeable future. That's about 3 steps down the foodchain from Juarez, Mexico.

At least the Nigerian Scam letters are usually addressed correctly ... :dunno:

Steve tunes more than the LB7, as a matter of fact I know a LLY that does pretty well out this way in the pulls and on the drag strip. Ofcourse, that will prove nothing on this board.

I have a feeling a bunch of Cali boys are going to tell me different. :thumb:

Maybe it was supposed to go to Dustin? He's out of NC, and has talked about Cecil County before I think. I suppose he's using dirtymax as a derogatory term for Duramax. Just a swing in the dark.

I would say this is more likely. Brad told me he doesn't spend much time on the forums and tries to avoid the drama so I doubt there has been any trash talking out of his camp. Although the term dirtymax being being reffered to as derrogatory he may have a problem with!:D

I'm pretty sure I know who's behind it. I believe it was sent from one of those poor stupid boys from the south. Probably had to do with comments made by McRat on another thread. I hear that someone wants him to come over this way and show us "Southern Boys" how it is done. I believe this person sure enough of what the outcome is going to be he will probably accept any takers. Any takers out there?

Exactly which board would it be impressive on?

Are you saying the best Dmax puller is a LLY tuned by TTS, and the quickest LLY is tuned by TTS as well? Or are you saying his LLY/LBZ stuff is Top Ten?

Or are you saying it almost keeps up with the handheld tuners that are unlocked and copied by hundreds?

We pulled against a TTS-tuned LBZ and it was less than impressive. Not top ten.

None of the events local to TTS have had a TTS-Tuned truck do anything significant in years now, but there never was a LLY or LBZ in any case. We live here, we go to the tracks. We know what runs and what doesn't. I raced heads up against TTS's LLY shop truck with my LLY. He got spanked hard.

You have Internet Gossip at best. "I know of a guy ..."

Tell you what. In all fairness, get a TTS LLY or LBZ max effort ECM and test it against the PPE Hot +2 and do a report. If you verify that it's worth running, then hundreds of people will probably run it, and you will be a hero. My guess is that all you have is a big mouth. And a purdy one at that. deliverance music echoing through the trees ...
