I'm looking for some information. How much volume do you remove from a piston if you cut the lip off? What if you shave off .040"? Do LBZs use A or B grade gaskets stock? Based on some really rough calculations:

With a C grade gasket I'll be running 15:1 CR
With an A grade gasket I'll be running 15.3:1 CR
With the piston de-lipped and a C grade gasket I'll be running 14.4:1 CR
With the piston de-lipped and an A grade gasket I'll be running 14.6:1 CR

it can depend which gaskets each engine gets....some get A's, others get B's, etc.

some even get different gaskets per side. (im almost positive)

Id like to know this too...Im running C gaskets and the lip cut off of LB7/LLY pistons, with a .187" radius...
