my friend just put a turbo back on his 07 classic and it didnt have a cat on it...he bought it new from a dealership here in california...how is that possible....

It shouldn't be as far as I know. I know we are keeping ours in case we ever trade them back in.
Eleotte said he pulled it off and put an AFE exhaust or something on it like a month ago - he prob just pulled it off and didnt know what it was or something. Its a vehicle manufacturer - they have to abide by the rules. All duramaxes come with cats. Hes just messin with you or something.
