LLY: C2 Electrical Connector

I am trying to remove my ECM and the C2 connector will not release from the ECM.

I'm able to get the level to push forward, but it is very loose. On one side, the lever has come out of the dowel that it slides on - when I push the lever forward I can see the hole which is supposed to be connected to the dowel pin. Any idea on how to get this off? Do I need to replace the connector?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Got it out. Used a right angle pick in the front of the clip and a small screwdriver at the back to wiggle it out. Once it was out, I was able to get the lever arm inserted onto the dowel. Good to go!
