New to this forum, I'm thinking about buying a duramax, actually I'm going to. There's a 2007 chevy duramax with 236,000 miles for sale. I'm not real sure of certain things I need to look for or ask about this truck. The trucks body and undercarriage look awesome, very clean. Older man so I assume one owner. But what are things to look for, if not this 07' why years are the best. Any info would be great, I'll update my progress with my future dream purchase.

It's 236000, these are things I'm not sure of, is it even worth it with that many miles? Not sure on the classic or not, I kind of want to make a questions list when I make the first call. What's the better option?

It really does, what would be a good price? Since I might be buying a new engine? Do I even take the chance?

Are you saying it needs an engine? if so I'd just walk away. Plenty of trucks out there. The miles wouldn't scare me as long as they maintained the truck.

x2 if it needs an engine just walk, but with that many miles if it was taken care of, you could get it for a decent price and still have it for years to come!
