Hey all, I am new to the site as well as new to owning a diesel. I am buying a 2006 LBZ ccsb. The old guy who is selling it drove 300 miles a day with the truck and put a BullyDog PMT unit in the truck just for gas mileage and gauges ( so he says). But he is pretty old so I dont think he ran it very hard. My question is, is this a good unit, it seems pretty nice but I always thought PPE and EFILive were the bread and butter. This BullyDog is expensive as hell so i thought maybe it was a nice one. Just looking for some input! Thanks for any comments they are appreciated!

I would sale it and run Edge Evo or PPE for a canned tuner or EFI if you want some custom tuning. My friends LBZ ran terrible with his Bullydog, shifts were aweful and EGT's were really high... JMO

I had one on my 06 when Bullydog was the first to release for the LBZ, it wasn't bad honestly.
