I'd say for best gains all around and having to only do it once get EFILive with a 2 tune switch...tunes being a MPG tune and a tow tune but that's just me...I would also suggest an EGT and boost gauge for security and piece of mind.

I have EFI and love it, but if your just looking mileage and a mild tow tune a Predator will serve you well and save you some money.

While not the best program it will work for your needs there is a good deal for a bully dog in the for sale forum

The Predator plugs into the obd port in the cab, load the program then unhook it and drive.

You should get gauges...at least an exhaust gas temp gauge. I'm using the predator and like it. If you tow and use a programmer your egt's need to be watched. My 5th wheel weights about 13k loaded and I see between 1200-1300 degrees going over tall bridges with the tow tune in.

trotorx2, when your are pulling your camper what kind of MPG are you getting?

To be honest...I'm not sure as I've never hand calculated it. With the Predator the DIC mpg isn't accurate. Also I have 17 inch wheels so that messes it up too. I see almost 12 mpg most times towing here in south Texas but I know it isn't totally correct.

I'm not getting great mpg's with this LBZ like some people. I'm working in Houma this week pm me and I can show you a Predator and show you how it works.
